You can cancel an order on Locaerise as long as the vendor hasn’t started processing it. If the vendor has already started processing your order, you can submit a request to cancel, and the vendor will either accept or decline your request. If an order is unexpectedly canceled, check your email for a message from us explaining the reason. You can also message the vendor directly for more information.
Can I Cancel My Order?
You can cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it, as long as the vendor hasn’t already started processing the order.
To cancel an order:
- Hover over your Account icon and select Orders.
- Find the order you want to cancel and select Cancel items.
- A confirmation pop-up will appear where you’ll need to select a cancellation reason and optionally leave a note for the vendor about the cancellation.
- Once you select Cancel Order in the pop-up, the order will be canceled immediately.
How Do I Request a Cancellation?
If more than 24 hours have passed since you placed your order, you will need to request a cancellation from the vendor.
To request a cancellation:
- Select your Account icon.
- Choose Orders from the drop-down menu.
- Find the order you wish to cancel and select Request cancellation.
- A pop-up will appear where you’ll be prompted to select a cancellation reason (required) and optionally leave a note for the vendor regarding your cancellation request.
- Once you select Request cancellation, your request will be sent to the vendor for approval. The vendor has 2 days to respond. If they don’t respond, the request will be automatically declined.
Please note, you cannot request to cancel an order once it has shipped.
What Happens After My Order is Canceled?
Once your order is canceled, you’ll receive an email explaining the reason for the cancellation. The order status will also show as “canceled” on your Orders page.
Payment for orders is collected at the time of shipment according to the payment terms of the order. We do not accept cancellation requests on orders that have already shipped. If your order is canceled successfully, you will not be charged.
What Happens if My Order is Canceled But I Didn’t Request a Cancellation?
If your order is canceled, you’ll receive an email confirming the cancellation. The email will include the reason for the cancellation if it was done by the vendor. You can message the vendor for more details or clarification.
